The action of “Obława” is set during World War II. The main character is Corporal Wydra (Marcin Dorociński), a partisan soldier, who struggles not only with the Germans and Polish traitors, but also with his past… Among co-starring actors there are Sonia Bohosiewicz as his wife, Weronika Rosati as a nurse and Maciej Stuhr, unusually for him, as villain.
The shooting has been realized in Małopolska region since November last year. Alvernia Studios provided the crew and the equipment – lights, power generator, star dressing room, makeup and wardrobe trailer and honeywagon.
“Obława” is co-finansed by Polish Film Institute and Krakow Regional Film Fund.
