NATALIA KUKULSKA’S NEW CD HAS ITS PREMIERE
23 February saw the premiere of Natalia Kukulska’s new 2-CD project, entitled “ÓSMY PLAN” [Eng. The eighth dimension]. One of the two CDs was recorded at ALVERNIA STUDIOS.
Natalia Kukulska worked on her new material together with her husband, Michał Dąbrówka. Within this project, the couple reaches for some daring musical means of expression, untypical of pop music – an interesting interplay of electronic and analogue sounds as well as the sound of synthesizers.
Ahead of the full album, a maxi single was released by the artist, with two songs: “Pióropusz” [Eng. The crest] and “Na Koniec Świata” [Eng. To the end of the world] as well as their live versions, recorded at ALVERNIA STUDIOS. Atom String Quartet has arranged the premiere songs in an interesting, untypical way.
“ÓSMY PLAN” contains two CDs and is the eighth solo album released by the artist, including performances by Michał Grott, Marcin Bors, Atom String Quartet and Krzysztof Zalewski. The second CD is entitled “ÓSMY PLAN – LIVE IN ALVERNIA STUDIOS” – recorded live, together with Atom String Quartet. Piotr Witkowski (Head of the Sound Department at ALVERNIA STUDIOS) was in charge of the recording on behalf of ALVERNIA STUDIOS with Leszek Kamiński in charge of music mixing.
Natalia Kukulska is one of the best-known and most recognized Polish vocals. She’s the author of lyrics and the co-composer of her songs. She has released 7 solo albums, most of which have reached gold, platinum or multi-platinum status. She’s the prize-winner at the Sopot International Song Festival, the Baltic Song Contest as well as the holder of Telekamera. Her albums have been multiple nominees to the Fryderyk award. Form many years now, she has cooperated with the best Polish musicians, who accompany her both in studio and during concerts.
