Richard Gere, thanks to his daring performance in the thriller “Arbitrage”, co-produced by Alvernia Studios, is considered to be a serious candidate for an Oscar nomination.

On 22nd October, the actor received a prestigious Hollywood Career Achievement Award for his lifetime achievement. Hollywood Film Awards honours artists for life time careers as well as achievements in the passing year.

During the last nine years, the winners of Hollywood Film Awards were subsequently nominated 85 times and given 32 Oscar statuettes in total.
